Map and Directions

Approximately half-way between Maentwrog and Harlech on the A496 at a 'dog-leg' crossroad junction turn uphill through small village of Llandecwyn (the turning opposite would take you to the toll-bridge crossing to Penrhyndeudraeth). After half a mile take the first left at the junction by the telephone kiosk. You will immediately go over a cattle-grid, and then find Llandecwyn Lake (Llyn Tecwyn Isaf) on your right. Continue all the way around the lake, and take the next turning to the right. Then, only a few hundred yards further uphill, the gate to Caerwych is on the left and is signed. Up a further quarter of a mile, quite steep and with some sharp bends, but it is a good road, and you will arrive at the farmhouse. Welcome!
